On or about Friday, June 10th, 2022, around 12:30 in the morning, an accident between a motorcycle and a passenger vehicle left one individual dead. Deputies from the Travis County Sheriff’s Office said the accident was reported at or near the intersection of West Slaughter Lane and Texas Oaks Boulevard in Austin, Texas.
Officers from the Austin Police Department said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was killed when the motorcycle they were on and a passenger vehicle collided under unspecified circumstances at Slaughter and Texas Oaks. Emergency responders pronounced the driver of the motorcycle dead of their injuries a short time after the crash.
According to Google Maps, the intersection of West Slaughter Lane and Texas Oaks Boulevard is on the south side of Austin.
Police are still looking into the collision.
