On or about Sunday, July 3rd, 2022, sometime in the hours after dark, a serious accident between a passenger vehicle and a tow truck left one woman dead. Local law enforcement representatives said the accident was reported along Lincoln Drive in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Officers from the Philadelphia Police Department said one as-of-yet unidentified woman was killed when the vehicle she was in was struck broadside by a tow truck while driving down Lincoln Drive. Emergency responders pronounced the woman in the car dead of her injuries at the scene of the collision. Police did not mention any other injuries in their statement on the accident.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is the West Mount Airy section of Philadelphia.
Police are still trying to determine the cause of the crash.
