On or about Thursday, March 11th, 2021, around 7:30 in the morning, an accident between a tractor-trailer and a motorcycle left one man dead. Investigators said the accident happened along the Black Horse Pike in Gloucester Township, New Jersey.
Police said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was killed when their motorcycle allegedly struck an 18-wheeler that was moving equipment at a construction site. Officials did not clarify if the tractor-trailer was protruding into a lane of traffic from the construction zone at the time of the incident. Paramedics pronounced the motorcyclist dead at the scene of the accident.
Authorities closed the Black Horse Pike between Almonesson Road to Church Street in order to tend to the scene.
Police are still investigating.
