On or about Tuesday, March 15th, 2022, around 11:42 at night, an accident between a pickup truck and a tractor-trailer left one individual dead. Spokespeople from the CHP said the accident was reported along Interstate 10 in Indio, California.
Troopers from the California Highway Patrol said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was killed when the pickup truck they were driving allegedly struck the back of a tractor-trailer that was parked along Interstate 10. Paramedics pronounced the driver of the pickup truck dead of his injuries after the collision, while the driver and passenger in the tractor-trailer were taken to the hospital for treatment of unknown injuries.
According to Google Maps, Indio is situated about 127 miles west of downtown Los Angeles.
