Details:
On or about Tuesday, April 12th, 2022, around 12:30 in the morning, an accident between a train and a pedestrian left one individual dead. Deputies from the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office said the accident was reported along a length of tracks near the exchange of Loop 410 and Interstate 35 in San Antonio, Texas.
Officers from the San Antonio Police Department said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was killed when they were allegedly struck by a train while they were sleeping on or near the railway. Emergency responders pronounced the victim dead of their injuries when they arrived at the scene of the incident.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is on the northeast side of San Antonio.
Police are still looking into the accident.
