Details:
On or about Thursday, October 14th, 2021, around 5:00 in the morning, an accident between a car and a tractor-trailer left one person dead and sent two others to the hospital. Troopers from the CHP said the accident occurred on Interstate 15 just north of Barstow, California.
Authorities from the California Highway Patrol said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was killed and two others were injured when a car allegedly struck a parked tractor-trailer while attempting a passing maneuver on Interstate 15. Paramedics pronounced one of the passengers dead, while two other people were rushed to the hospital with unspecified injuries after the accident.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is about 30 miles north of Barstow, which is about 114 miles northeast of downtown Los Angeles.
Police are still investigating.
