One person was critically injured following a collision between an SUV and a semi-truck attempting a U-turn on East Highway 82. The Gainesville Police Department reports that the collision took place somewhere around 6:30 a.m. on Thursday, December 19, 2024. The passenger was flown to Medical City Denton, and no other injuries were reported. The investigation is ongoing.
