18-year-old Osmar Josue Guerrero was killed and four others injured in a three vehicle collision at the intersection of I-20 and CR 1140 near Midland, TX. The Texas Department of Public Safety reports the accident occurred around 8:55 p.m. on Sunday, March 2, 2025. Pedro Antonio Lopez, Jr. was driving a Ford Mustang north on CR 1140 when he reportedly failed to stop at a stop sign. The Mustang collided with a Ford Fusion travelling east on I-20, with the collision sending the Mustang into a Chevy Suburban traveling in the eastbound lanes of I-20. The passenger of the Fusion and the driver of the Suburban received serious injuries, while the others only reported minor injuries. Josue Guerrero was transported to Midland Memorial Hospital, where he would die on March 3, 2025, as a result of his injuries.
