Details:
On or about Saturday, March 12th, 2022, around 11:30 at night, an accident between an alleged drunk driver and another vehicle left one person dead. Officers from the EPPD said the accident was reported along Sunland Park Drive in El Paso, Texas.
Authorities from the El Paso Police Department said Pat Mullen was killed when the vehicle he was in and another car allegedly collided when one of them may have been attempting to change lanes. Emergency responders pronounced Mullen dead a short time after the collision.
Officials have since identified the driver of the car Mullen was in as Michael Ransdell, who currently faces intoxication manslaughter charges in connection with the accident.
Authorities are still investigating.
