On or about Thursday, April 14th, 2022, around 6:30 in the morning, an accident between a tractor-trailer and a passenger vehicle and a tractor-trailer left a 39-year-old woman dead. Troopers from the Department of Public Safety said the accident was reported along Highway 60 in Castro County, Texas.
Texas DPS officials said 39-year-old Rachel Martinez was killed when the vehicle she was in allegedly hit the back of a tractor-trailer along Highway 60. Emergency responders pronounced Martinez dead of her injuries a short time after the accident.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is about eight miles west of Hereford.
