55-Year-Old pedestrian Richard Craig Acord was killed after he was struck by an alleged drunk driver on Loop 410 access road in San Antonio, TX. Officers with the San Antonio Police Department report the accident happened around 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 5, 2025.

Reports indicate the truck was travelling south when it failed to complete a turn, going over the curb and striking Acord. He was pronounced dead at the scene, and the driver of the truck has been charged with intoxication manslaughter.
