Details:
On or about Sunday, November 22nd, 2020, around 11:00 in the morning, an accident between an 18-wheeler and an ambulance sent two individuals to the hospital. Law enforcement spokespeople said the accident happened at the intersection of Route 48 and Miller Road in Lebanon, Ohio.
Investigators said Ryan Dolley and Emily Reynolds were in an ambulance responding to an emergency on Miller Road when it was allegedly struck by an 18-wheeler that was traveling southbound on Route 48. Dolley and Reynolds were taken to a nearby hospital to be treated for their injuries.
The driver of the 18-wheeler was identified as Monte Wiederhold, who did not report injuries following the crash.
Route 48 runs east and west with two lanes according to Google Streetview. Miller Road runs north and south, also with two lanes. The intersection of the roads is governed by a stoplight. Lebanon is located about 32 miles northeast of Cincinnati.
State and local law enforcement are investigating the crash.
