Details:
On or about Wednesday, January 13th, 2021. around 1:00 in the afternoon, an accident between a log truck, an SUV and a car sent three people to the hospital. Deputies from the Sheriff’s Office said the accident happened at the intersection of Highway 96 and Houston Street in Jasper, Texas.
Investigators said Kevin Rice was driving a log truck that allegedly failed to yield at the intersection when it struck an SUV driven by Sarah Alcada and a car driven by Tamala Adams. Rice, Alcada and Adams were taken to Christus Jasper Memorial Hospital with unspecified injuries following the accident.
The scene of the accident is situated in the center of Jasper, according to Google Maps. Jasper is about 134 miles northeast of Houston.
Police are still investigating the incident.
