Details:
On or about Saturday, February 19th, 2022, sometime in the hours after dark, an accident between a tractor-trailer and a pedestrian claimed the life of a 45-year-old Pennsylvania man. Representatives from the ISP said the accident was reported along the Indiana Toll Road in Howe, Indiana.
Officials from the Indiana State Police said 45-year-old Shamshitdin Nuridinov was killed when he was allegedly struck by a tractor-trailer as he was standing near a disabled 18-wheeler on the side of the Indiana Toll Road. Emergency responders pronounced Nuridinov dead of his injuries a short time after they responded to the scene of the accident. Authorities did not mention any other vehicles in their statement on the accident.
According to Google Maps, Howe is roughly 187 miles north of Indianapolis.
