Details:
On or about Sunday, April 10th, 2022, sometime in the hours after dark, a major two vehicle accident sent four adults and two children to the hospital. Deputies from the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office said the accident was reported at the intersection of Gibbs Street and Farm-to-Market Road 1375 East in New Waverly, Texas.
Law enforcement representatives from the area said four as-of-yet unidentified adults and two infants were injured when two vehicles collided under unspecified circumstances at the intersection of Gibbs and Farm-to-Market Road 1375 East. After the initial collision, one of the vehicles left the roadway and struck a pole a short distance off the pavement. Paramedics transported three adults and two children from one vehicle and the driver of the second vehicle to the hospital with various injuries stemming from the accident.
According to Google Maps, New Waverly is about 55 miles north of downtown Houston.
Officials are still examining the factors that may have contributed to the accident.
