Details:
On or about Saturday, April 24th, 2021, an accident between a tractor-trailer, a car, and an SUV left a 25-year-old woman dead, and sent one other person to the hospital. Troopers from the NJSP said the accident happened along Route 24 in Florham Park, New Jersey.
Authorities from the area said 25-year-old Stephanie Santora was killed when her car was allegedly struck by a tractor-trailer and pushed into a nearby Jeep Grand Cherokee. After the initial collisions, the tractor-trailer, the SUV, and Santora’s car all veered off the side of the roadway and struck a barrier. The car burst into flames, and Santora was pronounced dead of her injuries a short time after the accident. One other person in the car was taken to a nearby hospital with serious injuries.
According to Google Maps, Route 24 runs north and south through Florham Park, which is situated about 19 miles west of downtown Newark.
State Police assisted local law enforcement at the scene of the accident.
