Steven Dewayne McIntyre was killed and a passenger seriously injured in a collision with a tractor-trailer at the intersection of Hog Mountain and Malcom Bridge Roads in in Oconee County, GA. Officials from the Georgia State Patrol report the accident took place around 9:41 a.m. on Thursday, February 20, 2025. The Dodge Ram being driven by McIntyre reportedly failed to yield as it approached the intersection, where it was struck by the tractor-trailer. McIntyre and his passenger were both transported to Piedmont Regional Medical Center, where he was later pronounced dead. The cause of the accident is under investigation.
