Details:
On or about Thursday, June 9th, 2022, around 12:47 in the afternoon, a major two-vehicle car accident left two 39-year-old men dead. Troopers from the Department of Public Safety said the accident was reported along Highway 377 in Grayson County, Texas.
Authorities from the Texas Department of Public Safety said 39-year-old Steven James Mounger and 39-year-old Reginaldo Rogelio Romo were killed when one of the vehicles they were driving allegedly crossed over the center line of Highway 377 and struck the other head-on. Emergency responders pronounced Mounger and Romo dead of their injuries at the scene of the collision. A passenger vehicle in Romo’s vehicle, identified as Juan Vega, was rushed to a nearby hospital with serious injuries stemming from the crash.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is not far from Chisum Trail Road.
Officials are still investigating the crash.
