On or about Friday, January 28th, 2021, around sometime in the morning hours, an accident between a tractor-trailer and a tire that had fallen from another 18-wheeler sent a 58-year-old man to the hospital. Troopers from the MSHP said the accident was reported along Interstate 35 in Eaglesville, Missouri.
Police officer said 58-year-old Thomas Einerson was injured when a tire allegedly broke free from a tractor-trailer and struck Einerson’s 18-wheeler. Emergency responders rushed Einerson to a nearby hospital with injuries of an unknown nature or severity. Police identified the driver of the other tractor-trailer as Montora Johnson.
According to Google Maps, Eaglesville is about 104 miles northeast of Kansas City.
Police are still investigating the incident.
