Details:
On or about Thursday, January 14th, 2021, around 6:36 in the evening, an accident between a tractor-trailer and a car sent three people to the hospital. Authorities said the accident happened along Interstate 39/90 in South Beloit, Illinois.
Deputies from the County Sheriff’s Office said three people were injured when a tractor-trailer and a car collided under unknown circumstances while driving on the interstate. After the initial collision, the tractor-trailer rolled to one side. The driver of the tractor trailer and two other people were transported to the hospital with injuries of an unknown nature or severity.
Interstate 90 runs north and south through the eastern side of South Beloit, which is just north of Rockford.
Illinois State Police and local law enforcement are investigating the accident.
