On or about Friday, March 5th, 2021, around 3:30 in the morning, an accident between two tractor-trailers sent three people to the hospital. Officials from the OSP said the accident happened on the northbound side of Interstate 5 in Brownsville, Oregon.
Authorities from the area said three people were injured when an 18-wheeler allegedly struck the back of another tractor-trailer. Emergency responders took around an hour to free the three victims from the wreckage before they were rushed to a nearby hospital with unknown injuries.
Google Maps shows Brownsville is situated about 29 miles north of Eugene.
Police expect to release the findings of their investigation at a later date.
