On or about Sunday, April 11th, 2021, an accident between an 18-wheeler and a car sent three people to the hospital. Deputies from the Schuylkill County Sheriff’s Office said the accident happened in the 4500 block of Tyrone Pike in Rush Township, Pennsylvania.
Officers said a truck driver and two people in a car were injured when the vehicles collided under unknown circumstances. The tractor-trailer flipped following the initial accident, trapping the truck driver for several hours. Paramedics transported the truck driver and two people in the car to a nearby hospital with unspecified injuries stemming from the accident.
