On or about Wednesday, February 10th, 2021, around 7:20 in the morning, an accident between a box truck and an SUV sent two people to the hospital. Representatives from the CSP said the accident happened along Interstate 84 in Middlebury, Connecticut.
Spokespeople from local law enforcement said two people were injured when a box truck and an SUV collided under unknown circumstances. The box truck crashed off the side of the road following the initial collision. The driver of the truck and the SUV were taken to the hospital with unknown injuries.
According to Google Maps, Interstate 84 is four lanes in the area, with a wide, grassy median separating east and westbound traffic.
