On or about Wednesday, February 16th, 2022, an accident between a box truck and a school bus left 2 students injured. Authorities said the accident was reported along U.S. Highway 64 in Thomasville, North Carolina.
Representatives from the North Carolina State Police said two as-of-yet unidentified students were injured when a box truck allegedly struck the back of a the school bus they were on while driving down Highway 64. Two students were taken to a nearby hospital with unspecified injuries following the accident.
According to Google Maps, Thomasville is about 70 miles northeast of Charlotte.
Police are still investigating.
