Details:
On or about Thursday, June 9th, 2022, around 9:50 at night, a major single-vehicle rollover accident with an alleged drunk driver sent two people to the hospital. Officials from the Department of Public Safety said the accident was reported along Loop 289 in Lubbock, Texas.
Officers from the Lubbock Police Department said two as-of-yet unidentified individuals were injured when the vehicle they were in allegedly drove off the side of South Loop 289 and rolled when it struck a fence a short distance off the pavement. Paramedics transported two people from the scene to the hospital with unspecified injuries.
Police have since identified the driver of the vehicle as 27-year-old Keegan Ledbetter, who currently faces DWI and several other charges related to the incident.
Police are still investigating the accident.
