Details:
On or about Wednesday, April 14th, 2021, around 4:30 in the afternoon, an accident between a dump truck and two pickup trucks sent two people to the hospital. Deputies from the County Sheriff’s Office said the accident was reported on Route 12E in Brownville, New York.
Authorities said a dump truck with a backhoe allegedly swerved to avoid an accident when it struck two pickup trucks. The driver and passenger of the first pickup truck were taken to the hospital, one by helicopter, with serious injuries. It is not clear if anybody in the other vehicles were hurt.
According to Google Maps, Brownville is about 71 miles north of Syracuse.
Police are still investigating the accident.
