On or about Friday, November 19th, 2021, around 8:30 in the morning, a serious accident between a utility truck and a school bus sent two individuals to the hospital. Deputies from the Liberty County Sheriff’s Department said the accident was reported along Airport Road in Hinesville, Georgia.
Local law enforcement representatives said two as-of-yet unidentified individuals were injured when a utility truck and a school bus collided when the utility truck was allegedly driving the wrong direction on Airport Road. Emergency responders transported the driver of the utility truck and the driver of the bus to a nearby hospital with unknown injuries after the accident.
According to Google Maps, Hinesville is about 43 miles south of downtown Savannah.
