Details:
On or about Monday, March 22nd, 2021, around 7:00 in the morning, an accident between an SUV and an 18-wheeler sent two people to the hospital. Department of Public Safety officials said the accident happened at the intersection of FM 81 and Highway 87 in Lubbock, Texas.
Troopers from the DPS said two people were injured when a Jeep allegedly failed to yield at the intersection of Highway 87 on FM 41 when it was hit by a southbound tractor-trailer. Emergency responders transported the driver of the Jeep and the driver of the 18-wheeler to the hospital with unknown injuries after the incident.
According to Google Maps, the intersection of FM 41 and Highway 87 is about 20 miles south of Lubbock’s center.
