On or about Saturday, May 15th, 2021, around 2:00 in the afternoon, an accident between a tractor-trailer and two cars sent two individuals to the hospital. Police from the area said the accident was reported in the 5400 block of Frederica Street in Owensboro, Kentucky.
Law enforcement officials said two as-of-yet unidentified people were injured when a tractor-trailer allegedly lost control when it swerved to avoid a collision and struck a car in the oncoming lanes. Paramedics transported two people from the cars to a nearby hospital with unknown injuries. The driver of the tractor-trailer was uninjured in the accident.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is at the intersection of Frederica Street and the Martin Luther King Loop.
