Details:
On or about Monday, November 8th, 2021, around 3:00 in the afternoon, an accident between a car and a tractor-trailer left two people injured. Troopers from the VSP said the accident was reported along Highway 460 in Appomattox, Virginia.
Representatives from the Virginia State Police said two as-of-yet unidentified individuals were injured when the car they were in allegedly collided with a tractor-trailer while merging into the left lane in order to make a U-turn. Paramedics transported one person in the car to a nearby hospital, while the other occupant was treated at the scene for unspecified injuries.
According to Google Maps, Highway 460 runs east and west along the northern edge of Appomattox, which is about 92 miles west of Richmond.
