Details:
On or about Sunday, January 23rd, 2022, a major accident between a passenger vehicle and a tractor-trailer left two people dead and sent a 1-year-old child to the hospital by helicopter. Authorities from the CSP said the accident was reported along Highway 50 not far from the Pueblo Memorial Airport in Pueblo, Colorado.
Law enforcement spokespeople said two as-of-yet unidentified individuals were killed and a 1-year-old child was injured when the car they were in allegedly collided with the back end of a slow moving tractor-trailer. Emergency responders pronounced the driver and front passenger dead after the accident, Emergency responders airlifted the 1-year-old child to the hospital with unspecified injuries.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is situated about 114 miles south of downtown Denver.
Officials are still investigating the incident.
