Details:
On or about Wednesday, December 2nd, 2020, an accident between a car and a dump truck claimed the lives of two people. State Troopers said the accident happened on Route 16 in Uxbridge, Massachusetts.
Authorities said two as-of-yet unidentified people were killed when the car they were in and a dump truck collided under unknown circumstances. Photos of the scene show heavy front-end damage to the front of the passenger vehicle. Both victims were pronounced dead of their injuries at the scene of the collision.
Google Maps shows Route 16 cuts east and west through the town of Uxbridge with two lanes. The roadway is heavily wooded on either side of the pavement. Uxbridge is situated about 46 miles southwest of Boston.
Police are still examining the cause of the accident.
