Details:
On or about Monday, February 28th, 2022, around 4:10 in the afternoon, an accident between an SUV and two passenger vehicles left two people dead and sent five others to the hospital. Officials from the Department of Public Safety said the accident was reported along Interstate 40 just outside Bushland in Potter County, Texas.
Law enforcement spokespeople said two as-of-yet unidentified individuals were killed when the vehicle they were in allegedly struck two SUVs while running from a traffic stop. Paramedics pronounced the driver and one passenger in the vehicle that allegedly fled authorities dead of their injuries, while two other passengers and the drivers of both SUVs were rushed to the hospital with unknown injuries after the accident.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is a short distance from Bushland.
Officials are still investigating the accident.
