Details:
On or about Friday, November 13th, 2020 around 9:25 at night, an accident between a van and a crash attenuator truck left two people dead and sent two others to the hospital. Texas DPS Troopers said the accident happened on Interstate 20 near Rylie in Dallas, Texas.
Officers said two people were killed and two others were injured when the Chrysler Pacifica they were in allegedly collided with a crash attenuator truck. The attenuator truck had allegedly just stopped and was deploying the device when the accident happened.
Paramedics pronounced the driver and front seat passenger of the Pacifica dead at the scene of the crash. Two other occupants were taken to Baylor University Medical Center with unknown injuries.
Google Maps puts the scene of the accident in the southeast area of Dallas.
Deputies from the County Sheriff’s Office are assisting in the crash investigation.
