Details:
On or about Thursday, March 25th, 2021, around 1:45 in the afternoon, an accident between a tractor-trailer and a car left two teenagers dead. Investigators said the accident happened along Highway 41 at Highway 58 just outside Carlisle in Sullivan County, Indiana.
Troopers from the Indiana State Police said two teens were killed when the car they were in allegedly failed to yield at the intersection and collided with an 18-wheeler. One teen died at the scene, while another was rushed to the hospital where they succumbed to their injuries a short time after their arrival.
The scene of the accident is a short distance outside Carlisle, which is about 105 miles southwest of Indianapolis.
Police are still investigating the accident.
