Details:
On or about Tuesday, March 2nd, 2021, an accident between a tractor-trailer and a car left a man and a woman dead. Troopers from the ISP said the accident happened along Route 30 in Oswego, Illinois.
Authorities said a tractor-trailer driven by Gabriel Magee was allegedly attempting a U-turn when it struck a westbound Buick passenger vehicle. A 73-year-old man driving the Buick, as well as a 26-year-old woman in the passenger seat were pronounced dead at the scene of the accident. Magee and a passenger in the tractor-trailer were unhurt in the crash.
Officers cited Magee for attempting the U-turn and stopping in the roadway in connection with the incident.
Multiple agencies are still investigating the accident.
