Details:
On or about Tuesday, February 15th, 2022, around 2:15 in the afternoon, an accident between a box truck and a pedestrian left a 78-year-old man dead. Troopers from the ASP said the accident was reported along Interstate 65 in Morgan County, Alabama.
Law enforcement officials said 78-year-old Woodrow WIlliams was killed when he was allegedly hit by a passing box truck on the side of Interstate 65 as he was standing near a disabled vehicle. Paramedics pronounced Williams dead of his injuries a short time after the accident. Police did not mention any other injuries stemming from the accident.
According to Google Maps, Morgan County is about 37 miles south of downtown Huntsville.
